As you know, TeamViewer is a good software for remote control/ remote computer access . But it's not free at all, if you used it many times, you may got a commercial use detected or suspected announcement everytime you try to connect. If you're consider to buy a TeamViewer license, you will reliazed that it's quite expensive, the cheapest license called 'Business' cost 749 usd, and that's not all because there are some hidden cost. Especially about the upgrade or install on different computers.
For example , you have two computers and want to install TeamViewer on two computers, you will not able to use the 749 usd Business license, you will need to buy the Premium version cost 1499 usd for install on 2 computers. You really cannot call it the best alternative to Teamviewer yet until your program also supports Mac computers.TeamViewer allows remote connections to both Windows and Apple computers.So, maybe you should say you are the best alternative to TeamViewer if one only uses and connects to Windows computers.You are correct that TeamViewer stopped using only the MAC address. They changed it to where it records your Windows-generated Hard Drive ID Number and Windows-generated User Account SID number.

@DucFabulous: I'm not sure about MAC, but having a Linux version as well, would rock. I am not sure as of why you are making this free. Sure we all love the idea, but why free? Also for when will there be a Linux version? .rpm probably would work best.

I agree with all the sentiments stated here. For my job, I do a lot of remote support. I've looked all over for a good remote support program, and so far every one of them has had their drawbacks. The lack of good options out there is to the point that I've seriously thought about trying to create my own; however, that is a big enough undertaking that I haven't tried to do that yet.Recently, I've been using Team Viewer, but there commercial use thing always gets me. I would have paid for their professional version a long time ago, except for the ridiculous price tag. I could understand a $100 or $200 price, but $700 is just ridiculous.I tried the UltraViewer out just now and it seems to work decently well. The color rendering seems off just a bit, and the screen rendering seems a little slower than I'm used to, but otherwise it seems like it could be a promising alternative. The setup was very straightforward and worked without forwarding any ports or anything.I wish you guys all the best. Good luck.

Madison, I agree with you 100%. And to make matters even worse concerning TeamViewer's $700 charge: that extremely high fee only covers the one numeric version. In other words, you pay $700 for Version 10, and then they want more money to buy Version 11, etc.Thank you to DucFabulous. Great program. Some things you guys can add in would make it a whole lot better*The ability to copy/paste between remote computer and main computer*Black out screen, lock screen ect.*More securityIn time I would be willing to pay for this, but please don't overcharge like team-viewer.

great alternative for teamviewer, which I shy away from purchased it because of the very high cost.well, I just tried it for a day.seems like the performance is about 80% of teamviewer.can copy paste between remote and my computer, can send file too from the chat (while teamviewer can send file from remote).problem is, if the connection on remote computer is slow, it frequently disconnect, while on the same connection and remote computer, teamviewer can still connect and stabil.hope u can get the same stabil and speed connection like teamviewer. on that time, I would be willing to pay it, just dont too high like teamviewer. keep up the good work

This app is not a replacement for teamviewer (YET) and that is key, to make it a replacement we need support for mobile devices, windows, apple, android, need an account based login to add all your remote machines to without having to remember ID's, add options to transfer sound, files, etc, this app is good for instant quick support right now but once you have unattended it will make it a little better and once you add all the other above features than it will be a complete teamviewer replacement
Hi..this application is very helpful... Just saying for a few concerns: Can you improve the security? The Pc where you installed this don't have the ability or rights to exit or end task this program without entering the password.. And as Admin set full access to UltraViewer, anytime i can freely connect to that pc, using admin rights, the only message appear on his/her screen is "Admin (bla bla bla) is connected, keyboard and mouse input disabled"... No choice but to watch and wait until admins finish checking up the PC.. something like that? is this possible? Maybe it would be better to have two installer: 1) UltraViewerClient and the other is UltraViewerServer... something like this...hoping for your favorable action regarding this matter...Good luck! You have a very light and helpful application BTW... This will rock more if you improve a little bit...

Could you please do something with the possibilities for a group of PC-'s. I have 3 laptop's at home and couple of friend who regularly needs my help. In this moment, I can not save the ID's that I already connected with.
It's my opinion Teamviewer have priced themselves out of reach of many individuals and small businesses.This represents a glaring gap in the market and a opportunity that Ultraviewer could fill. Your product does need to be free, it just needs to work well and be priced correctly and people will buy and use it.
In addition to Ultraviewer, you can also have a look at alternatives like on premise R-HUB remote support servers, logmein, gotypmypc etc. They work well.
i suggest there can add more languajes or create a place to do that integration (multilenguaje) add the spanish/Españoli see there are functional, i think there have many things there can do ;) i think there i can suggest to many friends if add in spanish.BR, Apuromafo
I finally got the Commercial use for teamviewer and i am limited to 5 min at a timeI was looking for alternative and I can live with Ultraviewer if i could save the ID and add a name beside it.Now i have to keep a notepad open with the name of my computers and ID.. I just use that to control other laptop in the house so i dont have to get up and help a friend or two when neededI really really would like a way to save the ID/Password when i connectAlso an android version would permit me to play with my computers from my tablet when i am on holiday.Thank you so muchPaul
